Arulmigu Sankaranarayana Swamy Thirukkoil, Sankarankovil
- Lord Shiva, the paramount God of Saivism and Lord Vishnu, the Superior God of Vaishnavism conjoin together in a same idol with name Sankaranarayanar. It symbolizes unity of Saivism and Vaishnavism, two major parts of Hindu Religion.
